Pastors and ministry teams
Practical workshops and retreats for pastors, church staffs, ministry teams, and network or denominational gatherings.
Single session, half day, full day, or built into a multi-session retreat.
Ministry is demanding. Pastors and ministry leaders spend most of their time focused on the people they are leading, the ministry they are building, and the problems they are trying to solve. But sometimes the people doing the leading need an opportunity to step away themselves. To assess. To refocus. To grow.
Because even strong leaders and healthy teams can lose alignment, stop growing, become consumed by the urgent, or simply grow weary along the way.
And sometimes a leadership team does not need another meeting.
They need the right conversation.
Ken leads highly practical and interactive workshops and retreats designed to create the space, and provide the frameworks, for those conversations to happen.
Three critical areas, three workshops
Each workshop can stand alone, or be expanded and customized for your team.
How do we stay healthy, keep growing, and finish well?
How do we grow individually while rowing together toward the same destination?
How do we actually help people truly become more like Christ?
Workshop one
Every leader wants to finish well. Few do.
Ministry leadership is a long journey, and along the way leaders encounter seasons that can deepen them, redirect them, or derail them. Ken helps leaders step back from the demands of ministry to examine the trajectory of their own life and leadership, and to find practical principles for staying healthy, navigating defining moments wisely, and remaining faithful to their calling for the long haul.
Workshop two
At certain times and in certain seasons, every team needs to step back and ask: Are we still growing? Are we still aligned? Are we really rowing in the same direction?
This workshop creates an interactive environment for church staffs and ministry teams to assess their personal growth, team health, organizational alignment and ministry effectiveness. The goal is not simply a better meeting. It is a healthier team moving together toward a shared mission.
Workshop three
Most pastors do not need to be convinced that discipleship matters. The harder question is how we actually do it. How do we move beyond programs and good intentions to a clear pathway that helps ordinary people increasingly become more like Christ?
Drawing from decades of pastoral leadership and experience helping churches move from spectator-focused ministry toward disciple-making communities, Ken helps teams think practically about both the why and the how.
Not an off-the-shelf workshop
Ken does not believe every church staff or leadership gathering needs the same conversation. Before the event, he works with the pastor, network or conference leader, or event organizer to understand where you are.
From there everything is shaped around the leaders in the room. A workshop can be a single focused session, a half day, a full day, or part of a multi-session retreat.
The goal is not simply to deliver content. It is to help your leaders make meaningful progress.
38
YEARS AS A PASTOR
Plus decades developing, coaching and walking alongside pastors and Christian leaders.
Led by someone who understands ministry from the inside
For 38 years Ken served as a pastor, leading congregations, developing staffs, navigating seasons of growth and change, and learning firsthand both the privilege and the pressure of ministry.
He brings that experience into the room not simply as a speaker, but as a fellow leader who understands the world pastors and ministry teams live in. His style is biblical, practical, personal and highly interactive.
He does not simply want your leaders taking notes. He wants them having conversations that matter, and leaving knowing what to do next.
